Trail Riding

Trail ride to your heart's content in the beautiful Lincoln National Forest, amidst miles and miles of trails in the cool, tall pines. The trails range from easy to extreme so take your pick. The trails in the canyon bottoms are mainly dirt with a few rocky patches here and there. They go up only slightly in grade.

The trails that go up and over the mountains tend to be rocky and steep. We recommend that horses be shod.

The trails consist of old logging roads, cow and game trails, and ranch trails used to get around for work. We hand out maps and explain the trails, daily if needed. There is also a large laminated map under the pavillion. There are approximately 100 miles of trails.

Separate horse boarding facilities for short or long term, using large, covered 30 ft X 50 ft pipe pens. Round pen and roping arena also available. We provide plenty of personalized care for your horses.

Stallion services are also available. Our 1998 Buckskin stallion, "Peanut," is of Joe Hancock bloodlines, stands 15 hands, and produces excellent tempermant babies. Peanut is used for all ranch work and his offspring are good working ranch horses.
